The Day I Choose to Die

By: Amorbaby1987

Upon the stage of life's grand theater,

I stood at the crossroads, fate's own seer,

A decision so grave, the world held its breath,

The day I chose to embrace my own death.

With a heart heavy as lead and eyes like fire,

I sought to escape the pain, the mire,

The burdens that weighed on my weary soul,

A symphony of sorrow, a story untold.

The sun cast its final golden kiss,

As I ventured into the abyss,

A path shrouded in shadows and despair,

A journey to a world beyond compare.

The winds whispered secrets of the unknown,

As I walked this path, utterly alone,

The echoes of my past danced in the air,

A tapestry of memories, both foul and fair.

In the realm where stars refused to shine,

I faced the specters of my own design,

Regrets and dreams, entwined in a dance,

As I stood on fate's edge, ready to advance.

Yet, in that moment, a revelation profound,

A voice within me, a heartbeat's resound,

Life's tapestry, a mosaic of pain and delight,

A symphony of struggles, a dance of light.

With newfound strength, I cast off the shroud,

A phoenix rising from ashes, unbowed,

The day I chose to die was not an end,

But a rebirth, a chance to mend.

I embraced the scars, both old and new,

A warrior forged, tested and true,

No longer defined by the fear of the night,

I emerged from the darkness, into the light.

The day I chose to die, I found my life,

A symphony of strength, a battle rife,

With each breath, a testament to thrive,

A tale of resilience, forever alive.
